Kathleen in Kevin Pollak’s new move Misery Loves Company

Kathleen makes an appearance among a bevy of comics in Kevin Pollak’s new film Misery Loves Company. Veteran actor and comic Kevin Pollak explores the idea that laughter has to come from a place of deep suffering in interviews with more than 60 comics in order to get to the core of what makes them tick. At what point did they realize they wanted to be funny for a living, and what is it that keeps them coming back to the spotlight’s harsh glare? The film debuts in select theatres April 24th and will be featured at the TriBeCa FilmFest April 22nd. It is also available for download on iTunes and Amazon Instant Video Read about the film on Salon Do you have to be miserable to be funny?
